Fountain pen inks, composed of dyes, react with water on quality paper, releasing their various colours, creating a serendipitous and beautiful chromatic effect. The addition of bleach elevates fountain pen ink art to another level revealing stunning neon gold effects, textures, and new colours.​

GELLI PRINTING WORKSHOP
A SIMPLE BUT STUNNING TECHNIQUE
AT ART & SOUL
NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED
Gelli printing introduces a modern approach to monoprinting without the need for a press, thanks to the development of a mineral-based, reusable, soft print plate. This technique allows for the creation of unique prints that can vary from vibrant to understated, depending on your preference. The pliable and responsive surface of the plate makes it easy to incorporate detailed textures, such as those from plants or textiles and even magazines into your artwork.
During the workshop, you'll be presented with a variety of examples showcasing the diverse potential of Gelli plate printing before beginning your own creative journey. Comprehensive demonstrations will ensure you gain the confidence to create numerous prints on your own in this experimental setting. Support will be available whenever necessary, ensuring you acquire the skills to pursue this enjoyable printing method at home should you wish to.
All materials provided and there will be home-made cake and refreshments. 6 places only!

ONE DAY ABSTRACT PAINTING WORKSHOP PAINTING FROM THE HEART
This one day workshop is for anyone who wants to learn how to paint abstract artwork with freedom and confidence. It’s for total beginners or those who are more experienced, who want to experiment with abstraction and painting fast and free.

I'll take you from the safety of working on printed newspaper, with children’s paints, to experimenting working on canvas with acrylics. Step by step I'll help you build your confidence. Ideally, you will leave with the tools to paint boldly and start creating your own abstract works from the heart.
All materials provided, come and escape the busy world for the day and explore colour and self expression.
