GRATITUDE TRANSFORMED MY LIFE
The last few weeks the subject of gratitude and looking at where you are positively focusing your attention, has been coming up time and again in my one to one consultations. Using gratitude to fuel manifestation is also a core aspect of on my retreat days. So I thought it might be a good time to write a blog post about this subject and my own relationship with it.
Many people have asked me over the years how I transformed my life from being a single mum, with a baby, living in a one bedroom basement flat in Hove, to having the wonderful life that I have now? I will always tell them, regularly practicing gratitude and using that as the rocket fuel for creative visualisation, is what transformed my life and continues to do so on a daily basis.
No matter how dire my circumstances might have been, I never saw myself as a victim. I refused to focus on what I didn’t have, I focused on all that was good in my life, you can always find something, I would feel deeply grateful and then imagined myself and my son living a better life. I know through experience, that life can be very hard, even cruel at times but also amazing. I try to see everything in life as an opportunity.
As you know, if you have been to my web site or signed up for this newsletter, my life today couldn’t be more different. I have a wonderful husband, along with my son Sam I have 3 amazing step children, who I love dearly and a fantastic home and business. But the important thing is, I was just as grateful then, as I am now!
Gratitude is a powerful emotion that can greatly impact your life and enhance the process of manifestation. When you express gratitude, you focus your attention on the positive aspects of your life, fostering a mindset of abundance and appreciation. This shift in perspective aligns your energy with the things you desire, making manifestation more effective. But it can also help you feel less like a victim, which can happen so easily, when we focus on what we lack.
Gratitude can have wonderful health benefits too. Studies suggest that practicing gratitude may improve mental well-being, reduce stress, and enhance overall happiness. It can also lead to better sleep, stronger immune system function, and lower levels of inflammation in the body. Cultivating gratitude can positively impact your physical and mental health.
Research shows that practicing gratitude — 15 minutes a day, five days a week — for at least six weeks can enhance mental wellness and possibly promote a lasting change in your perspective on life.
By practicing gratitude, you cultivate a state of receptivity and attract more of what you appreciate. It helps you recognise and acknowledge the blessings, opportunities, and experiences already present in your life, creating a sense of fulfilment and contentment. This positive vibration resonates with the universe and can attract similar positive experiences.
Moreover, gratitude helps you maintain a positive attitude and open-mindedness, which are essential for effective manifestation. When you are grateful, you emit a high-frequency energy that aligns with your intentions, making it easier to manifest your desires. Gratitude also helps you stay focused on what you want to create, reinforcing your belief in the possibility of achieving your goals.
Remember that manifestation is a combination of mindset, action, and belief. Gratitude acts as a powerful catalyst, aligning your energy and intentions with the universe's abundance, thus enhancing the manifestation process. I am living proof that this method works.
