Unveiling Clarity: My Aura-Soma Experience with Claire Fearon

Updated: Nov 29

BY SOPHIE BOULDERSTONE

Sometimes, life throws us into a state of stuckness, a space where we feel on the verge of something incredible but can’t seem to break through. That’s exactly where I was when I booked an Aura-Soma session with Claire. A friend, who had been to see her, described the experience as life-changing, and while I was intrigued, I didn’t entirely know what to expect.

I’ve known Claire for years, back from when we both lived in Brighton, her as an artist, me working for magazines. She’s always had this uplifting energy about her, the kind that makes you feel instantly lighter in her presence. Although she’d shown me the bottles once before, I didn’t know much about the practice itself. What I did know was that something needed to shift in my life, and I was ready to try something new.

The moment I stepped into Claire’s stunning home and workspace, I felt a sense of calm and inspiration. It’s not just a beautiful setting; it’s a testament to her belief in personal growth and creating a life you love.

I was brought to a unit of vibrantly coloured Aura-Soma bottles. Normally, my scepticism might have crept in, but I was determined to release old patterns and open myself up to something new. Claire explained how the contents of these bottles are crafted on a biodynamic farm in the UK—plants and herbs nurtured with carefully placed crystals to protect and energise the land. Any materials sourced globally are chosen with equal intention and mindfulness. The two-tone liquids inside contain a combination of essential oils, herbal essences and real gemstone tinctures. Anything that can’t be grown on the farm is sourced from cooperatives and companies that share an ethos of protecting both people and the planet.

At first glance, the bottles are striking, with their two distinct layers of colour. But their beauty isn’t just visual—it’s deeply symbolic. Choosing my four bottles wasn’t as simple as picking the ones I found aesthetically pleasing. Claire guided me to look past my ego and focus on what drew me in on a deeper, instinctive level. The first bottle was the hardest to choose, but once I let go of overthinking, the rest seemed to fall into place.

Next came the task of writing about how each bottle made me feel. Again, this wasn’t about the colours themselves but the emotions they evoked in me. This reflective process was surprisingly revealing.

The first bottle I chose represents the soul’s purpose. Mine? The clown. My task is to free the sad clown—something that resonated deeply. Over the years, I’ve suppressed my natural joy and playfulness, feeling like I needed to fit into a box of calm control and organised perfection. This bottle reminded me that my authentic self isn’t too much or too loud; it’s vibrant, goofy, and full of life.

The second bottle I chose was called Peace but, to me, spoke of maternal love. It made me think about how much I give to my children, perhaps to compensate for the lack of nurturing I felt growing up. It highlighted the imbalance I’ve created by pouring everything into them while neglecting myself. It was a powerful reminder that self-care isn’t selfish—it’s necessary.

Throughout the session, Claire offered insights and gentle challenges. She wouldn’t let me fall back into patterns of negativity or excuse-making. With care and sensitivity, she flagged when I started to retreat into old habits, encouraging me to embrace a more positive perspective.

The overall message was clear: I am capable of greatness, and the only thing standing in my way is me. Driving home, I found myself in tears. I realised how much I’ve been failing to appreciate the blessings in my life, how hard I find it to accept help, and how I often resent relying on others instead of feeling grateful.

What’s blocking me? I am. But that also means I have the power to move forward. Claire’s session reminded me of this in a way that felt profound yet practical. Sometimes we need the right person to truly see us—to hear our struggles and help us let go of what no longer serves us. That’s Claire’s gift.

If you’re feeling stuck, weary, or in need of clarity, I can’t recommend an Aura-Soma reading with Claire enough. Her ability to blend compassion with insightful guidance is truly transformative. Whether you’re uncovering your life’s purpose or simply seeking a fresh perspective, Claire has a way of helping you find it - And maybe it’s time to let your clown out more.
